Zulal completes EPC Sea Water RO Project at Zawia

Zulal Water Technology (“ZWT”) announces the successful on-time completion of EPC project for Akakus Oil Operations (“AOO”) for New Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Plant (SWRO) complete with all pre- and post-treatment systems for Zawia Tank Farm. The total production capacity of New SWRO plant is 150m3/day. The EPC contract was signed by AOO on 26th December-2022 and Zulal successfully commissioned the plant in mid-July, 2023; and handed over to site with one-week hands- on site training to AOO engineers and technicians.
Engineering, Projects & Corrosion Manager of AOO, said: “The new SWRO plant has advanced technology. Within short time frame, the project execution by Zulal is impeccable and very much to our satisfaction. The new SWRO plant adds value to AOO Zawia camp assets and has saved AOO from expensive commercial water sourcing. We look forward to working with Zulal on future projects.”
